Women are making their mark in the business world.

This year, in 2022, International Trade Centre (ITC) organized an event titled – “12th WTO Ministerial Conference: What do women in business need?”

WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and ITC Executive Director Ms. Pamela Coke Hamilton invited women entrepreneurs from across the world.

We at Luxe Living take pride that our founder and CEO, Madhumita Sarkar Guha, was invited as one of the four promising women entrepreneurs of the world to talk about Women entrepreneurship and how Luxe Living is creating a sustainable ecosystem back in India.

Along with Madhumita, three other women entrepreneurs took part in this conference. They are Mobola Sagoe, Shea Origin from Nigeria; Yohanna Keraf, Du Anyam from Indonesia; and Agnes Mukamushinja, Nova Coffee from Rwanda.

Madhumita gave a speech on how conscious clothing is slowly changing the fashion ecosystem while impacting the balance of planet Earth. She highlighted how Luxe Living is helping the local artisans, promoting Indian crafts and cultural heritage to the international market, and at the same time building a sustainable local ecosystem for artisans.
